Jeff Jahn (born 1970) is a curator, art critic, artist, historian, blogger and composer based in Portland, Oregon, United States. He coined the phrase declaring Portland, "the capital of conscience for the United States," in a Portland Tribune op-ed piece, which was then reiterated in The Wall Street Journal.

A port is a location on a coast or shore containing one or more harbors where ships can dock and transfer people or cargo to or from land. Port locations are selected to optimize access to land and navigable water, for commercial demand, and for shelter from wind and waves. Ports with deeper water are rarer, but can handle larger, more economical ships. Since ports throughout history handled every kind of traffic, support and storage facilities vary widely, may extend for miles, and dominate the local economy. Some ports have an important military role.

Ports (Ports collection o Port trees, del idioma inglés: Colección de Puertos o Árboles de Puertos, respectivamente) son un conjunto de ficheros del tipo make (herramienta de generación o automatización de código) y parches, de los sistemas operativos BSD: FreeBSD, NetBSD y OpenBSD. Por otra parte, es un método simple de instalación de software o creación de paquetes binarios. Son usualmente la base de los sistemas de gestión de paquetes, con ports gestionando la creación de paquetes y herramientas adicionales gestionado eliminación de paquetes, actualizaciones y otras acciones cómo gestión de dependencias entre paquetes.
