A drug with
psychotomimetic (also known as
psychotogenic) actions mimics the symptoms of
psychosis, including
delusions and/or
delirium, as opposed to just
hallucinations.
Psychotomimesis is the onset of psychotic symptoms following the administration of such a drug.
