The Requetés (from the French requêté, “hunting call”) were the Carlist militia during the Spanish Civil War. Wearing red berets, they mostly came from Navarre and were highly religious with many regarding the war as a Crusade. They were often accompanied by priests as field chaplains, who were known for risking their lives to perform the last rites on the battlefield and who also urged the men on. A Spanish encyclopedia of 1965 defines the Requetés:
The earliest use of the term was applied to the Third Battalion of Navarre (Tercer Batallón de Navarra) in 1835 during the First Carlist War, and it was later applied generally to all Carlist combatants. The Carlist Requetés had been receiving military training during the Second Spanish Republic. During the early and middle periods of the Spanish Civil War the Requeté units were well known as highly motivated and (comparatively) well trained assault troops for the nationalists. Carlist units were instrumental in several nationalist victories, notably during the tough fighting in and around the two northern provinces of the Basque Country, Biscay and Gipuzkoa, during the Northern Campaign in 1937. The negotiations with the conspiring generals were tough.

El Requeté (cuyos integrantes eran llamados requetés o boinas rojas) fue una organización paramilitar carlista creada a principios del siglo XX que participó en la Guerra Civil Española, llegando a integrar a más de 60 000 combatientes voluntarios repartidos en 67 tercios que lucharon a favor del bando sublevado, principalmente para defender la religión católica y combatir la amenaza marxista. El nombre de la organización procedía del empleado por algunos batallones carlistas durante la Primera Guerra Carlista.

• en droit : un recours exercé devant une juridiction, auquel il est répondu par un jugement ou une ordonnance ;
• en informatique :
  • un message envoyé par un client vers un serveur, qui émet une réponse ;
  • en traitement de bases de données, une interrogation de la base. Le client reçoit comme réponse des éléments de cette base correspondant aux critères définis dans la requête. Dans le cas particulier des base de données relationnelle, le format standard de requête est le SQL.

Requetè fou l'organització paramilitar del carlisme creada a principis del segle XX. L'ús més antic del terme "requetè" correspon al Tercer Batalló de Navarra, denominat del Requetè, el 1835, durant la Primera Guerra Carlina. El valor dels seus components va fer que, per extensió, aquesta denominació es generalitzés a tots els combatents carlins.
