Sindh ( ; ) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan, in the southeast of the country. Historically home to the Sindhi people, it is also locally known as the Mehran. It was formerly known as Sind until the 1956 Constitution of Pakistan. Spelling of its official name as Sind was discontinued in 2013 by an amendment passed in Sindh Assembly. The name "Sindh" is derived from the Sanskrit Sindhu, a reference to the Indus River that passes almost through the middle of the state.

Der Sindh (Sindhi ; ) ist eine der vier pakistanischen Provinzen. Die traditionellen Hauptstädte Hyderabad und Thatta wurden 1936 von Karatschi abgelöst. Der Sindh ist mit 40 Millionen Einwohnern relativ stark bevölkert, wobei schon die Bevölkerung von Karatschi auf bis zu 14 Mio. Menschen geschätzt wird. Der Sindh ist in 23 Distrikte unterteilt.

De provincie grenst aan de Pakistaanse provincies Beloetsjistan in het westen en noorden, Punjab in het noorden, en de Indiase staten Rajasthan in het oosten en Gujarat in het zuidwesten. In het zuidoosten grenst Sindh aan de Arabische Zee. De hoofdstad is Karachi, de grootste stad van Pakistan, en de provincie heeft 30.439.893 inwoners (2-3-1998).

Le Sind ou Sindh est une région historique et actuellement l’une des quatre provinces fédérées du Pakistan. Situé le plus au sud du pays, il est entouré du Baloutchistan à l'ouest et au nord, du Pendjab au nord, du Rajasthan indien à l'est et enfin du Gujarat et du Rann de Kutch au sud. Le Sind dispose aussi d'un accès à la mer d'Arabie au sud-ouest.
