Post-punk
Post-punk is a type of rock music that emerged from the punk rock movement of the 1970s. The term refers to music that draws inspiration from elements of punk (such as its provocation, musical urgency, or DIY approach) while moving beyond its sonic and conceptual boundaries, preoccupations, and affiliations.
