Ancients/The Ancients are a fictional humanoid species from the Stargate franchise. Among their several names, they are called Ancients/The Ancients in Milky Way, Ancestors/The Ancestors and Lanteans in Pegasus Galaxy, and they sometimes call themselves Anquietas in their language. They are also known as Alterans, which consists of two factions: themselves and Ori.
