Beelzebub was first published in 2008 as a one-shot by Tamura in issue 37-38 of Weekly Shonen Jump, subsequently winning the fourth Gold Future Cup. The manga was then serialized in the same magazine, from its 13th issue in 2009 to its 13th issue in 2014, then in Shonen Jump Next!! as , from its 2nd issue in 2014 to its 1st issue in 2015.
