Robert Francis "Bob" McDonnell (born June 15, 1954) is an American politician. He was the 71st Governor of Virginia. McDonnell served on the executive committee of the Republican Governors Association. McDonnell was a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserve. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1992 to 2006, and was Attorney General of Virginia from 2006 to 2009.
