Cuban Americans are Americans who trace their national origin to Cuba; and even though they identify themselves as Cubans. Cuban Americans form a distantly third largest Hispanic group in the United States, but nonetheless the largest group of Hispanics of European ancestry (predominantly Spanish) as a percentage but not in numbers.
