Dominic Monaghan (; born December 8 1976) is an English actor. He has received international attention from playing Meriadoc Brandybuck in Peter Jackson's epic film trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001–2003), and for his role as Charlie Pace on the television show Lost (2004–2010).
