English Bazar or Ingraj Bäzär, better known as Malda, called the "Mango City", is a city and municipality in Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It serves as the district headquarters. It is the seventh largest city in West Bengal. Malda is nominated for becoming a municipal corporation (both English Bazar municipality and Old Malda municipality).
