History TV18 (formerly known as The History Channel) is a pan-Indian television channel broadcasting programmes related to historical events, infotainment and persons, owned by a joint-venture between A+E Networks, owner of the American History channel, and TV18, an Indian JV media group. The channel is in a bouquet of factual entertainment channels to be launched by the joint venture. available in eight languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali in full HD across all major markets in India and will reach out to more than 50 million households in the launch phase.
