Huai'an , formerly called Huaiyin until 2001, is a prefecture-level city in central Jiangsu province of Eastern China. It borders Lianyungang, Suqian to the north, Yancheng to the northeast, Yangzhou to the southeast, and Chuzhou (Anhui) to the southwest.
