Onyx is a fictional character from DC comics. She is an old member of the League of Assassins until she retired and decided to become a vigilante. She stays in Gotham city, and decides to become an ally of the Batman. She is called by Batman, told to protect Orpheus and works for him until he dies. She battles Jason Todd (Red Hood). She's also an independent person that Batman lets roam free in Gotham.
