Porto Recanati is a town counting 12.464 inhabitants (30.11.2014) located in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region. It is the northeast coastal town of the province. It was created independent town on 15th January 1893, when, due to a Decree signed by King Umberto I, Porto Recanati's coastal hamlets, separated from Recanati.
