Selizharovo is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and the administrative center of Selizharovsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia situated at the confluence of the Selizharovka and Volga Rivers. Population:

Selizharovo was first mentioned in 1504. In 1547 Tsar Ivan the Terrible gave it to the Simonov Monastery which was located in Moscow.
