The Slamdance Film Festival is an annual film festival focused on emerging filmmakers and low-budget independent films, created in 1995. Slamdance has since developed to become a year-round organization fostering the continued career development of independent filmmakers at all stages of the creative process, consisting of the Film Festival, Screenplay Competition, and Slamdance Studios.
