Aluminium silicate (or aluminum silicate) is a name commonly applied to chemical compounds which are derived from aluminium oxide, Al₂O₃ and silicon dioxide, SiO₂ which may be anhydrous or hydrated, naturally occurring as minerals or synthetic.
