vine cactus) is a
plant indigenous to the
Sonoran Desert and
Chihuahuan Desert in the
Southwestern United States (southern
California, southern
Nevada,
Arizona,
New Mexico, western
Texas), and northern
Mexico (as far south as
Hidalgo and
Guerrero).
