Andrew Kennedy "Andy" Irvine (born 14 June 1942) is an Irish folk musician, singer-songwriter, and a founding member of popular bands Sweeney's Men, Planxty, Patrick Street, Mozaik, LAPD and Usher's Island. He is an accomplished player of the mandolin, mandola, bouzouki and harmonica, and occasionally plays the hurdy-gurdy.
