The Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople (, Oikoumenikó Patriarkhío Konstantinoupóleos, ; ; , "Roman Orthodox Patriarchate") is one of the fourteen autocephalous churches (or "jurisdictions") that together compose the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is headed by the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, currently Bartholomew I, Archbishop of Constantinople.
