Jhang (, ) is the capital city of Jhang District, in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated on the east bank of the Chenab river, about from Lahore, about from Faisalabad, about from Multan, and about from Sargodha. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, it had a population of 293,366.
