Lophozonia is a genus (or subgenus) of seven species of evergreen trees native to the Southern Hemisphere that can grow up to 40 metres high. They belong to the family Nothofagaceae, which are commonly known as the Southern Beeches. Species are located in Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina.
