Omurtag (or Omortag) (; original ) was a Great Khan (Kanas ubigi) of Bulgaria from 814 to 831. He is known as "the Builder". "Kanas u bigi" may be referred to as a super-title, as the meaning is "Knyaz in (from) the God" - "Канас У Богу".
