Bisulfite
Bisulfite ion (IUPAC-recommended nomenclature: hydrogen sulfite) is the ion HSO3-. Salts containing the HSO3- ion are termed bisulfites also known as sulfite lyes. For example, sodium bisulfite is NaHSO3.
