Ringette is a team sport with four variations, one winter and three indoor and outdoor versions. The winter sport is played on an ice rink. One indoor court version is called by its initial name, floor hockey, while the more modernized version is called gym ringette. Two of the indoor gymnasium versions are North American and one other unrelated version is South American. This article focuses on the winter sport.
