Boston

Boston is de hoofdstad en grootste stad van de Amerikaanse staat Massachusetts. Het wordt ook beschouwd als de officieuze hoofdstad van New England. In het jaar 2010 had Boston 617.594 inwoners. De hele agglomeratie Groot-Boston, die zich tot in New Hampshire, Rhode Island en Connecticut uitstrekt, telt 6.057.826 inwoners (volkstelling 2000). De stad ligt in Suffolk County. De inwoners worden Bostonians genoemd.
