Bowman's glands (a.k.a.
olfactory glands, glands of Bowman) are situated in the
olfactory mucosa, beneath the
olfactory epithelium, in the
lamina propria, a connective tissue also containing fibroblasts, blood vessels, and bundles of fine axons from the olfactory neurons.
