China City of America

China City of America is a China-themed construction project in and near the town of Thompson, Sullivan County, in the Catskill Mountains region of the U.S. state of New York, slated to bring thousands of wealthy Chinese immigrants through the federal U.S. EB-5 immigrant investor program, which grants permanent residency to foreign investors in exchange for job-creating investments in the United States. Sherry Li, a Long Island businessperson and the chief executive officer and founder of China City of America, envisions US$6 billion of foreign investment in the project.
