District of Elbasan

The District of Elbasan is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Elbasan County. It has a population of 224,689 (2010 estimate), and an area of 1,372 km². It is in the centre of the country, and its capital is Elbasan. The district consists of the following municipalities:
