Eqbal Ahmad

Eqbal Ahmad (1933/34 – 11 May 1999) was a Pakistani political scientist, writer, journalist, and anti-war activist. He was strongly critical of post-colonial power formations, including the Middle Eastern strategy of the United States, and of what he saw as the "twin curse" of nationalism and religious fanaticism in such countries as Pakistan.
