Hari River (Afghanistan)
The Hari River or Herat River (Persian هری رود Harī Rūd, i.e. "Herat River") is a river flowing from the mountains of central Afghanistan to Turkmenistan, where it disappears in the Kara-Kum desert. Rud means "river" in Persian.
