John P. Lucas
John Porter Lucas (January 14, 1890 – December 24, 1949) was a senior officer of the United States Army, with the rank of major general, who saw service in World War I and World War II. He was one of the commanders of VI Corps (September 1943-February 1944) during the Italian Campaign of World War II, which was fought in the Mediterranean Theater.
