Naresuan

Naresuan or Sanphet II (, 25 April 1555 –1605) aged 50 years was the King of the Ayutthaya Kingdom from 1590 until his death in 1605. Naresuan the great king is the one of Thailand's most revered monarchs as he was well known for his campaigns independent to free Thailand from the Bumar|Burmar under the Tongauo Dynasty. During his reign, numerous wars were fought against Tongauo, Burmar. Naresuan the great king also welcomed the Dutch.
