Photoinitiator
A photoinitiator is a molecule that creates reactive species (free radicalscations or anions) when exposed to radiation (UV or visible). Synthetic photoinitiators are key components in photopolymers (i.e. photo-curable coatings, adhesives and dental restoratives).
