Rize

Rize is the capital city of Rize Province in the eastern part of the Black Sea Region of Turkey.

Rize is an American documentary movie starring Lil' C, Tommy Johnson, also known as Tommy the Clown, and Miss Prissy. The documentary exposes the new dance form known as krumping which originated in the early 1990s in Los Angeles. The film was written and directed by David LaChapelle. Working alongside LaChapelle were executive producers, Ishbel Whitaker, Barry Peele, Ellen Jacobson-Clarke, Stavros Merjos, and Rebecca Skinner. Rize was produced by Lions Gate Entertainment and released in January 2005, grossing $3.3 million at the box office.

Rize (lasisch: Rizini / რიზინი) ist eine nordosttürkische Stadt am Schwarzen Meer und liegt am Fuße des Kaçkar-Gebirges, des östlichsten und höchsten Teils des Pontischen Gebirges in einer Höhe zwischen 5 und 160 Metern. Sie ist die Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Provinz Rize. Die Grenze zu Georgien ist etwa 120 km entfernt.

RIZE es una banda japonesa de J-Rock formada originalmente en 1997. Sus estilos rondean tanto el metal, y también el rap y el reggae.

Rize is een documentaire van modefotograaf en clipregisseur David LaChapelle over de hiphop-dansvorm krumping. Tussen 2002 en 2004 maakte hij in de wijk South Central in Los Angeles, Californië opnames van het adembenemende en acrobatische clown dancing.
