Tuberomammillary nucleus
The tuberomammillary nucleus is a histaminergic nucleus located within the posterior third of the hypothalamus. It consists of, largely, histaminergic neurons (i.e., histamine-releasing neurons) and is involved with the control of arousallearningmemorysleep and energy balance.
