Acoustic metamaterials

Acoustic metamaterials are artificially fabricated materials designed to control, direct, and manipulate sound waves as these might occur in gases, liquids, and solids. Furthermore, with acoustic metamaterials controlling sonic waves can now be extended to the negative refraction domain.
