Andrzej Czok (November 11, 1948 – January 11, 1986) was a Polish
mountaineer best known for the first winter ascent of
Dhaulagiri on January 21, 1985 with
Jerzy Kukuczka and for the first ascent of
Mount Everest through South Pillar in 1980 (new route also with Jerzy Kukuczka). He died while making a winter attempt on
Kangchenjunga.
