Balneario
A balneario is a Latin American seaside resort town, although they may also occur along great lakes, rivers and at hot springs. In Spain, balneario typically only refers to spa town resorts. Whatever the case, these resorts offer recreation, sports, entertainment, food, hospitality and safety services, retail and cultural events. These balneario towns are characterized by being flooded by masses of tourists during the summer seasons.

Balneario
Un balneario (del latín balnearĭus «establecimiento de baños medicinales») es un lugar dedicado a la curación a través de la utilización de las aguas, sobre todo termales o minerales, con un edificio para el hospedaje. En Europa los balnearios son Centro Sanitarios autorizados por las correspondientes autoridades sanitarias, donde se realizan tratamientos de medicina termal para enfermedades reumatológicas, respiratorias, digestivas, de vías urinarias, dermatológicas, de ORL (otorrinolaringología) y del sistema nervioso. En Latinoamérica y en otros continentes se conciben como balnearios centros marinos de talasoterapia o centros de SPA.
