Bond Street is a street in the
West End of
London, connecting
Piccadilly in the south to
Oxford Street in the north. The street, consisting of two sections, has been a popular shopping area since the 18th century and is the home of many fashion outlets that sell prestigious and expensive items. The southern section is named
Old Bond Street and the longer northern section is named
New Bond Street—this distinction, however, is not generally made in everyday usage.
