Circulation (fluid dynamics)
In fluid dynamics, circulation is the line integral around a closed curve of the velocity field. Circulation is normally denoted G (Greek uppercase gamma). Circulation was first used independently by Frederick LanchesterWilhelm Kutta, and Nikolai Zhukovsky.
