Colorado

Colorado (, or ) (Spanish for "ruddy") is a U.S. state encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States, the Southwestern United States, and the Mountain States. Colorado is the 8th most extensive and the 22nd most populous of the 50 United States. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the population of Colorado was 5,456,574 on July 1, 2015, an increase of 8.50% since the 2010 United States Census.

17th Street/Santa Monica College (formerly Sunset) station is an at-grade light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system located near the intersection of 17th Street and Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California. When it re-opens, this station will be served by the Expo Line.

Downtown Santa Monica (formerly Santa Monica) station is an under-construction at-grade light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. It will be located near the intersection of 4th Street and Colorado Avenue in Downtown Santa Monica, California. When it opens, this station will be served as the Expo Line's new terminal station. On that day, 4th/Colorado will become the western terminus of the Expo Line and the westernmost station in the Metro Rail system.

Colorado es un estado al oeste de los Estados Unidos de América. Es conocido por tener los picos más altos de las Montañas Rocosas, que dominan la parte occidental del estado, ya que la oriental consiste en grandes llanuras. La capital del estado, así como la ciudad más grande, es Denver, cuya área metropolitana concentra más de la mitad de la población del estado (2,3 millones de habitantes, de un total de 4,3 millones). El estado fue llamado así por el río Colorado, el nombre que los colonizadores españoles le dieron al río. El 1 de agosto de 1876 el presidente Ulysses S. Grant firmó una proclamación admitiendo a Colorado como el estado 38 de Estados Unidos, es el apodado «estado Centenario», ya que fue admitido a la Unión en 1876 el año del centenario de la Declaración de Independencia de Estados Unidos.

Le Colorado (en anglais  ) est un État de l'Ouest des États-Unis. Sa capitale est Denver qui forme avec Aurora, une métropole de soit plus de la moitié de la population de l'État. Le Colorado est surnommé L'État du Centenaire () car il a intégré l'Union en 1876, 100 ans après la déclaration d'indépendance des États-Unis. C'est un des deux seuls États totalement rectangulaires (avec le Wyoming).
