Ear

The ear is the organ of the sense of hearing in the auditory system. In humans, the ear consists of three structures —the inner ear, middle ear and outer ear. The inner ear, contains the apparatus necessary to change the vibrations transmitted from the outside world via the middle ear into signals passed along the vestibulocochlear nerve to the brain. The middle ear, includes the tympanic cavity and the ossicles.The outer ear consists of the auricle or pinna, and the ear canal. The ear not only detects sound but also aids in balance and body position. The  semicircular canals, the utricle and saccule of the inner ear also function as organs of the vestibular system responsible for balance.

EAR (Enterprise ARchive) is a file format used by Java EE for packaging one or more modules into a single archive so that the deployment of the various modules onto an application server happens simultaneously and coherently. It also contains XML files called deployment descriptors which describe how to deploy the modules.

Enterprise Archive oder Enterprise Application Archive (kurz EAR, „Unternehmensanwendungsarchiv“) ist ein Begriff aus der Software im Umfeld der Programmiersprache Java. Der Begriff bezeichnet sowohl ein Datenformat für die Speicherung von Programmen als auch jede Realisierung dieses Speicherformats.

Die Europäische EDV-Akademie des Rechts (EEAR) ist eine juristische Forschungs- und Fortbildungseinrichtung mit Sitz in Saarbrücken. Gesellschafter sind das Saarland und der Deutsche EDV-Gerichtstag.

Der Hohe Repräsentant für Bosnien und Herzegowina überwacht seit 1995 durch die Resolution 1031 des UN-Sicherheitsrates gemeinsam mit dem ihm unterstellten Büro des Hohen Repräsentanten (engl. Das Ohr (latein. auris altgr. οὖς, Genitiv ὠτός; „us, otós“) ist ein Sinnesorgan, mit dem Schall, also Töne, Klänge oder Geräusche aufgenommen werden. Zum Ohr als Organ gehört auch das Gleichgewichtsorgan.

Ear es una runa del alfabeto futhorc. Se introdujo en el alfabeto para representar el diptongo /ea/, transliterándose como ea. A pesar de ser una de las últimas incorporaciones aparece grabada en una inscripción epigráfica, la espada del Támesis, por lo que su incorporación no puede ser posterior al siglo IX.

Het oor (wetenschappelijke naam: auris) is een orgaan waarmee geluidsgolven worden opgevangen om door de hersenen te worden ervaren als geluid.

Un EAR (pour Enterprise Application ARchive) est un format de fichier utilisé par Java EE pour empaqueter () un ou plusieurs modules dans une seule archive, de façon à pouvoir déployer ces modules sur un serveur d'applications en une seule opération, et de façon cohérente.

L'oreille est l'organe qui sert à capter le son et est donc le siège du sens de l'ouïe, mais elle joue également un rôle important dans l'équilibre. Dans le langage courant, ce mot fait souvent référence à sa partie extérieure bien visible, le pavillon. Il s'applique aussi au système entier, l'appareil auditif, aussi bien externe qu'interne, qui effectue la collection et la compréhension des sons. Seuls les vertébrés ont des oreilles, toutefois de nombreux invertébrés sont capables de percevoir les sons en faisant appel à d'autres sens.
