Egypt

Egypt (; , , Khemi), officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia, via a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula. It is the world's only contiguous Eurafrasian nation. Most of Egypt's territory of lies within the Nile Valley. Egypt is a Mediterranean country. It is bordered by the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba to the east, the Red Sea to the east and south, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west.

Ägypten (Aussprache in Deutschland und in der Schweiz nur [], in Österreich auch []; Miṣr, offiziell Arabische Republik Ägypten) ist ein Staat im nordöstlichen Afrika mit über 87 Millionen Einwohnern und einer Fläche von über einer Million Quadratkilometern. Die  Metropole Kairo ist Hauptstadt und eine der bevölkerungsreichsten Städte bzw. Regionen der Erde. Ägypten hat als interkontinentaler Staat eine Landbrücke vom größeren afrikanischen Teil nach Asien, dem Sinai. Diese Halbinsel wird im Allgemeinen zum asiatischen Kontinent gezählt.

Egipto, oficialmente la República Árabe de Egipto (en árabe: جمهوريّة مصرالعربيّة Ŷumhūriyyat Miṣr Al-ʿArabiyyah, pronunciado en dialecto egipcio: [Maṣr]), es un país soberano de África en la parte más occidental del Máshrek. Es un , está ubicado mayoritariamente en el extremo noreste de África mientras que en Asia, se encuentra la península del Sinaí un terreno comparativamente pequeño comparado con el resto del país. Limita con Sudán al sur, con Libia al oeste y con el Estado de Palestina e Israel  al noreste. Al norte limita con el mar Mediterráneo y al sureste con el mar Rojo.

Egypte (Arabisch: , Miṣr), officieel de Arabische Republiek Egypte (, Jumhūriyat Miṣr al-`Arabīyah; ) is een staat in het noordoosten van Afrika. Het land omvat ook het schiereiland Sinaï, dat geografisch bij Azië wordt gerekend. Egypte grenst aan de Middellandse Zee in het noorden, de Gazastrook en Israël in het noordoosten, de Rode Zee in het oosten, Soedan in het zuiden en Libië in het westen.

LÉgypte, en forme longue la République arabe d'Égypte (en arabe  , en arabe égyptien communément appelée ), est un pays se trouvant en Afrique du nord-est et, pour la péninsule du Sinaï, en Asie. Situé sur la côte sud de la Méditerranée orientale, le bassin Levantin, l'actuelle Égypte occupe l'espace géographique qui fut naguère celui de l'Égypte antique.
