Ervik is a village in
Selje Municipality in
Sogn og Fjordane county,
Norway. The village is located on the northwestern tip of the
Stadlandet peninsula, about northwest of the municipal centre of
Selje, and about northwest of the village of
Leikanger. The village sits at the southern base of the mountain plateau,
Kjerringa which forms a cliff that plunges almost vertically into the ocean at the northwestern end of the peninsula. It is one of the westernmost villages in mainland Norway.
