Exklave
Eine Exklave (von aus ‚aus‘ und clavis, ‚der Schlüssel‘) ist ein Teil – auch Teile – eines politischen Gebietes (Mutterland), das vom Rest des Gebietes durch Grenzen räumlich abgetrennt ist und ausschließlich über fremdes Gebiet zu erreichen ist.

Enklávé és exklávé
A politikai földrajzban az enklávé olyan államterület, amely teljes egészében egy másik ország területén belül helyezkedik el, míg az exklávé olyan terület, amelynek nem áll fenn területi folytonossága az anyaországgal. Több olyan terület van, mely egyszerre enklávé és exklávé, de a két fogalom nem szinonima.
