Ezekiel
Ezekiel (; , Y'ḥez'qel, ), meaning "May God strengthen him", "God will strengthen" (from , ḥazaq, , literally "to fasten upon", figuratively "strong", and , el, , literally "God", and so figuratively "The Almighty") is the central protagonist of the Book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew Bible.

Ezechiel
Das Buch Ezechiel oder Hesekiel ist eine im Zeitraum von ca. 600–560 v. Chr. in Babylonien entstandene Schrift des jüdischen Tanach und des christlichen Alten Testaments, die seit dem Mittelalter in 48 Kapitel unterteilt wird. Es schildert die Visionen und symbolischen Handlungen des Propheten Ezechiel, der zur ersten Gruppe der im Rahmen des Babylonischen Exils verschleppten Israeliten gehörte. Ezechiel war der Sohn eines israelitischen Priesters .

Ézéchiel
Ézéchiel (en hébreu ) est un prophète de l'Ancien Testament (ou Tanakh selon la tradition hébraïque), qui a probablement vécu au Son nom veut dire « Que le Seigneur le fortifie. » On lui attribue le livre d'Ézéchiel, le troisième dans l'ordre canonique des grands prophètes (Isaïe, Jérémie, Ézéchiel, Daniel). Il apparaît également deux fois dans le Coran, sous le nom de Dhul-Al-Khifl ; le prénom simplifié musulman correspondant est Isaiah.

Livre d'Ézéchiel
Le livre d'Ézéchiel est un livre du Tanakh et de l'Ancien Testament écrit par le prophète Ézéchiel parmi les exilés de Babylonie. Les dates extrêmes donnent entre 593 av. J-C (1,2) et 571 av. J-C (29,17). Le livre contient des reproches et des menaces contre les Israélites avant le siège de Jérusalem, des oracles contre les nations, des consolations pour le peuple déporté, et l'annonce d'un rétablissement religieux et politique en terre d'Israël.
