"Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave)" is a song by the Swedish rock duo Roxette. It was released as the second single  from their third studio album, Joyride (1991). In July 1991, the song spent a week at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 (second only to Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You") in the United States. It was the last Top 10 single for Roxette in this country, who had a remarkable run over a three-year period, with four Number One singles as well as this number two hit.
