The
Farnborough/Aldershot built-up area or
Blackwater Valley Conurbation or
Aldershot Urban Area is the name used by the
ONS to refer to the loose conurbation on the border between
Surrey,
Berkshire and
Hampshire in
England. They give it a population of 252,937 in 2011 up by around 4 rom the 2001 figure of 243,344. This makes it the 29th largest built up area in England and Wales. The conurbation is known by some particularly when referring to
Hart District and
Surrey Heath as the
Camberley Urban Area.
